At a special meeting of the North Huron Board of Education held Wednesday, January 17, two individuals were appointed to open trustee positions. Due to the wind chill, North Huron School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 17. There will be no GSRP program. The NH Early Learning Center will remain open. The special board meeting scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. will still be held.
The NH Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 15 beginning @ 4:00 p.m. in the Media Center to conduct interviews for the vacant board positions. The meeting is open to the public.
Due to the weekend weather forecast the North Huron Skating Party scheduled to be held the Sunday, January 14, at the Bad Axe Fairgrounds Expo Center has been postponed until February. A new date and time will be posted once the skating party is rescheduled.
Due to the Winter Weather Advisory and the expected winds and deteriorating road conditions North Huron School, including GSRP, will be dismissing students at noon today. The NH Early Learning Center will remain open.
